General Watercolor Academy Navigation
To access the Watercolor Academy, click on "Watercolor Academy" at the top-right of Foxsy's home page. The full curriculum takes 12 weeks to complete, running at a rate of just under one course per week. That means your time commitment needs to be about 4 hours per week, depending on how fast or slow you want to take it. Remember: you can totally take it slow if that is what feels right for you. If you want to take six months to work through the Academy curriculum, then more power to you!
Throughout the guided experience, you will need to utilize the course page, as well as frequently check your email to follow along with the recommended rhythm.
At the start of the page, you'll see the option to enroll if you haven't already. For instructions on how to enroll in the Watercolor Academy, go here: How do I enroll in the Watercolor Academy?
Just under the initial description at the top of the page, you'll see four links to navigate the Academy Overview to introduce you to the program and the four sections you will complete throughout the Academy. You can click on each link to take you directly to the section in which you'd like to review.
In each section, you will find:
- Academy Overview: a video introduction to the courses and what you can expect throughout your experience in the Watercolor Academy, as well as a replay video explaining the materials you'll need.
- Section 1: The essentials that everyone needs to begin their watercolor journey.
- Section 2: A closer look at some of the foundational techniques and more opportunities for hands-on practice.
- Section 3: A variety of exciting courses, and you'll get to choose which "electives" to take.
- Section 4: Options for projects and techniques to help you further hone your budding watercolor skills.
Upon completion of the four sections in the Watercolor Academy and by submitting your final project, you will receive a certificate of artistry by e-mail. For information on how to download and print this certificate, go here:
